Business Information Consultant - VP Medicare Product Management - PS47992
Primary Location: Virginia, W. Virginia, Texas, California, New York, Illinois; other Anthem office locations will be considered in addition to remote.
Responsible for working with management to assist with requirements gathering for reporting and report validation.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Serves as the primary contact/support for report validation including prior period and outlier analysis
Drives standardization efforts across all MMP markets for regulatory and clinical operational reporting
Leads efforts to develop and standardize reporting requirements across all MMP markets.
Serves as a MMP reporting subject-matter expert for the enterprise and for the markets.
Serves as liaison between the market clinical operations teams and the MMP reporting team
Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.
Leads efforts to identify best practices. Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
Designs methods for integrating function and process.
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field; minimum of 5 years’ experience; project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft office products – with an emphasis on Excel, preferably advanced
SQL Knowledge / understanding as well as experience with SQL coding
Ability to successfully present information in a consolidated, concise and thoughtful manner to medium to large groups.
Ability to multi-task, juggle competing and dynamic priorities.
Ability to quickly assess, analyze and synthesize data coming from multiple locations and sources into one comprehensive process.
Strong Analytical Skills when working with large data sets (either in a table or excel file)
Advanced Excel knowledge
Project management or business analysis related experience in Medicaid/Medicare operations (ie. Claims resolution, customer service, membership, provider relations, clinical operations, etc...)
In-depth understanding and experience of Medicaid and / or Medicare operations.
Competent with interpreting technical documentation as well as writing requirements.
