Anthem, Inc. Sales Account Executive - Behavioral Health in Westchester, Illinois


SHIFT: Day Job

SCHEDULE: Full-time

Responsible for acquiring new business and achieving annual EBITDA target.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Takes ownership of the sales cycle from lead qualification through contracting.

  • Builds strong client relationships and establish executive credibility with key stakeholders including clients, government agencies, and vendor partners.

  • Acts as a thought leader to our potential clients demonstrating cutting edge knowledge of state and federal programs, health plan business and regulations and understanding of key market trends.

  • Collaborates with the Plan President, Clinical, Government Affairs, Product Development and Operations to translate identified market opportunities into viable, cost-competitive, and innovative products and solutions that will create profitable new business opportunities.


Requires a BA/BS; 5 years of sales experience within the healthcare field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Strongly Preferred: Behavioral Health Experience
