The Information Security Senior Advisor - Phishing and Brand Resiliency is responsible for overseeing Elevance Health’s Phishing and Brand Resiliency program, facilitating a variety of performance-based email security and brand protection related initiatives. Outcomes of the role primarily on concrete skills related to identifying and reducing Anthem’s email threat landscape but may include soft skills content.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Conducts enterprise and targeted phishing training exercises to assess risk and provide mitigation plans and recommendations.
Identification of high-risk audiences based on actual and simulated phishing failures and provide program recommendations based on data analysis and best practice research.
Lead and manage projects with cross functional teams for the Cyber Security Analytics team with the goal of minimizing the network attack surface through identification of gaps, opportunities, risks, and program/resource/tool redundancies.
Developing trusted relationships with key vendors, learning management and development, information technology, and other lines of business
Consults and addresses opportunities for improvement or learning solutions including identifies organizational needs, successfully uses performance consulting to analyze data and identify root cause to determine appropriate mitigation solutions, develops service level agreements and meets with clients to obtain approval.
Oversight of select Threat Management tools and applications
Conduct proof of concepts for new vendor relationships
Partner with internal communications team to create collaterals to educate and reinforce security first behaviors
Facilitate and lead workgroups and workgroup meetings related to Phishing Resiliency Program or team projects
Provide reporting and dashboards for leadership and board meetings
Requires BS/BA in information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people; experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required.
Requires broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Security Certifications: CISSP and other advanced technical security certifications (e.g. Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation Professional, or equivalent certifications) strongly preferred.
Experience interacting with senior management, as a subject matter expert that may involve influencing and decision-making
Mastery of Microsoft Office products, most notably MS PPT, Excel and analytic tools
Proficient in change management strategies (communication plans)
