Responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
Monitors and maintains database jobs including ETL, Aggregation and SSIS.
Supports production and ad hoc reporting requests for care management.
Requires a BS/BA degree, 5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SQL Server and SSMS, as well as database design including structure and indexing; Proven experience with creation and maintenance of stored procedure ETL and SSIS packages
PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required.
The majority of time will be spent on development and maintenance tasks
Qualified applicants must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to function well in a collaborative working environment with minimal oversight and have outstanding organizational and time management skills.
