Location: 4200 West Cypress Street, Tampa, FL

The Broker Relations Representative is r esponsible for maximizing sales from National Brokers who sell our products in multiple Anthem states.

  • Research and identify prospective brokers, establish and maintain a collaborative relationship that encourages open and frank dialogue and the sharing of ideas.

  • Maintain the overall management of the relationship with the National brokers which includes:

  • Onboarding new accounts while identifying both current and future sales potential.

  • Create an ongoing process to bring on new accounts, evaluate the account's current and future sales potential.

  • Develop client-specific sales training and general support processes which include:

  • Agent licensing and onboarding of the agency and sales staff, sales forecasting including new and renewal membership, customized sales tracking and reporting, customized sales reporting, develop broker and state-specific sales strategies based on the state-specific competitive environment which may include sales contests to maximize growth, manage the co-op advertising budget, and assist with the annual reconciliation of open enrollment sales.

  • Provide the Individual segment leader with intelligence from the field related to changes and trends in the market, the status of competitive carriers in the field, and strategies used by the competition.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS, minimum 5 years of industry sales/broker management experience in the Health Care Industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Active and current Life and Health Insurance state license required.
