The Program Administrator is responsible for the administration of CA provider related programs within the WGS COE (Center of Excellence). Support business strategies for provider facing projects or initiatives.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Administers the implementation and compliance of provider related programs including mandatory reporting to State agencies. • Ensures programs meets their stated objectives. • Provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues. • Researches applicable subject matter, practices and remains aware of industry trends. • Manages relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas. • Assists in implementation of new provider groups or provider terminations as required. • Manages routine and ad hoc member reassignments. • Coordinates training related to the provider programs; develops program success measures. and performs periodic assessments of provider program success. • Schedules, conducts and attends meetings, supports management in overall objectives. • Compiles complex provider related data and able to prepare and deliver presentations.


Required Qualifications: • Requires an BA/BS degree in related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in provider programs/provider data management or other healthcare related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

Preferred Qualifications: • WGS experience is highly preferred • Knowledge of CA Medicaid preferred
