We’re looking for a passionate Director of Talent Acquisition (TA) Portfolio Execution who wants to help us grow our capability to bring amazing talent to Anthem. Based near one of the Anthem Pulse Point Hub locations, you will lead a team of relationship managers and data experts who collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build, support, and continuously improve the TA capability.

The Director of Talent Acquisition Portfolio Execution is responsible for building and executing the TA capacity model, leading the external engagement strategy with RPOs (Recruitment Processing Organizations), and then measuring and communicating operational and outcome-based TA metrics. The Director of TA Portfolio Execution is ultimately accountable to execute the allocation of the recruitment demand portfolio across Anthem TA teams and outsourced recruitment providers.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Motivates and leads a team to deliver on the TA Data, Metrics, and RPO strategies.

  • Designs and implements the TA capacity model, identifying which capabilities and recruiting demand will be supported by internal and outsourced TA resources.

  • Coaches the team regarding personal development and maximizing their individual and collective team potential.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership behaviors and is a critical teammate across the Global TA Leadership Team.

  • Design the enterprise-wide RPO strategy and operational plan, ensuring consistency in process and measurements across RPOs.

  • Builds and oversees the TA-wide Metrics and Data strategy, ensuring that metrics and TA scorecards offer the answers to the most urgent business drivers and demonstrate TA performance levels. Develop the communication strategy for TA-wide metrics and scorecards.

  • Acts as the budget owner across all of TA, developing annual budgets and bringing budget updates and considerations to the TA Lead team each month during the operational reviews. Facilitates budget tradeoffs.

  • Communicates key program progress, issues, and risks to critical stakeholders.

  • Works closely with and across the team to identify continuous improvement opportunities across talent acquisition.

  • Builds relationships with associated third-party partners and monitors performance.

Qualifications

Basic Requirement:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • 6 Sigma, Lean, Process Mapping Experience

  • Previous experience with RPO leadership

  • Previous experience with capacity planning and production

  • Previous experience developing a metrics and scorecard strategy

  • Previous experience developing and managing functional budgets

  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency, while still creating end to end solutions

  • Ability to apply situational leadership, and flex leadership style to adapt to the team

  • Travel may be required.
