Title: Director Systems Support and Programs

Location(s): Virginia, New York, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Texas (willing to consider other locations)

Status: Full-time, Salary, Bonus Potential

The Director Systems Support and Programs directs activities within one or more system support areas.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Oversees system configurations workflow management systems, new system implementation, provider portals, and operational readiness.

  • Oversees the relationships between systems support, business units, IT, vendors and other areas to ensure work deliverables are evaluated from end to end.

  • Oversees the prioritization and quality programs; oversees business analysis area to ensure business needs are clearly identified, documented, tested and delivered within scope.

  • Oversees the delivery of projects and ensures development and compliance of project management methodologies; or oversees the delivery of system and soft-skill training and documentation of processes and procedures.

  • Oversee project and operational teams and drive process improvement and automation opportunities

  • Management duties include hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in related field

  • Minimum of 9 years related experience

  • Leadership experience with direct reports

  • Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

    Preferred Skillset/Experience

  • Advanced degree.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and negotiation skills.

  • Advanced strategic planning and organizational skills

  • Background knowledge of healthcare provider data, user experience, and workflow management

  • Experience with Project and Product Management
