The Senior Integrations Developer position plays a key role in the development of AIM’s next generation integration platform. This platform powers our ability to connect to clients and partners. We are looking for a new member of our Integration Services team who, together with the team, will be responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing integration capabilities that will carry AIM forward into the future. As you grow in this role, opportunities will exist to grow into an Enterprise Integration Architect as well as other leadership roles.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Partner with Integration Architects to define and effectively communicate the standards and best practices which will help the AIM Information Technology department implement and maintain integrations with clients and partner organizations
Work effectively across all areas of the organization to drive and influence common integration approaches that will assure the consistency of integrations
Partner with Integration Architects to define and implement tactical approaches to integration when constraints demand it
Perform discovery documentation of partner integration approaches
Understand and update architectural diagrams/workflow patterns of partner integration approaches
Development and implementation of applications/software for EAI
Maintain the AIM integration playbook (implementations, policies, patterns, and standards)
Learn the newest versions of integration products such as: Tibco, Axway, and Rabbit MQ
Partner with Application Development Teams to perform testing operations
Partner with the lead on design decisions & documentation.
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience
3+ years of experience in information technologies, preferably within the health care industry.
Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Multi database and/or multi language strongly preferred.
3+ years of experience in relevant integration technologies.
3+ years of Java development experience including multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
3+ year of experience with the Axway/TIBCO BW/API product or equivalent integration toolset, EMS platform (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
3+ years full systems life cycle experience including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, requirements specifications, detail design, program specifications, coding and unit testing /integration testing automation.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design principles.
Experience working on EDI/X12 technologies.
Expertise on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment CI/CD, Automated Testing, Containerization, and current trends in Open-Source Software.
Practical experience in event-based integration patterns such as CQRS and Event Streaming.
Expertise in understanding integration patterns.
Strong understanding and experience in using REST, SOAP, OAUTH, and EDI healthcare standards (HL7, X12) is preferred.
Experience in cloud transformation is desired.
Understanding of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture and DevOps.
Experience coaching/mentoring Junior developers & offshore team members preferred.
