The Regional Manager, Clinical Operations will oversee a team of four Office Managers and 60+ front-line medical assistants for five Outpatient Medical Care Centers which provide Primary Care, Specialty Care, and additional services for our Medicare Advantage population. This position will be an accountable operations leader for key performance and quality metrics such as STARS performance, high risk panel management, patient experience, employee development and retention, and patient access.
This position will manage over a territory that spans across south Los Angeles County from Long Beach to Downey, and all of Orange County.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Have direct accountability for the multi-site operations within the territory and be part of a larger cross-functional leadership team managing the region’s performance
Provides leadership to and oversight of clinical operations staff.
Monitors compliance, implements corrective actions, and provides training on processes, procedures and workflows.
Partners with management to develop short and long-range business plans, objectives, strategies, and goals.
Work with the Central Operational Excellence team in order to roll-out national initiatives at the regional level.
Supports the clinical operations team in the development and establishment of operations in expansion markets.
Develops and implements protocols, policies, and procedures directly associated with Care Center operations.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires a BA/BS degree;
6 years of experience in the management of a large medical practice with multiple locations, including experience in an outpatient healthcare setting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
MBA/Masters in Health Administration preferred.
People management experience strongly preferred.
Experience such as leading multi-disciplinary project teams is highly desired.
Familiarity and comfort with matrix management structure.
For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
