SCHEDULE: Full-time

Mgr II Customer Care- Multi

Responsible for managing staff and responsibilities for Life and Disability and Conversion and Portability Enrollment & Billing. These teams include a combination of operations functions that include customer service, membership, billing, mail, document management, etc.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishes policies, practices and efficient/effective procedures.

  • Develops specific work plans and implements to accomplish operational results, including meeting established service metrics.

  • Serves as mentor to lower leveled managers;

  • Serves as subject matter expert for other areas of the company as well as within the department;

  • Manages multiple functions requiring unique sets of knowledge or has significant fiscal accountability over and above routine people/equipment costs;

  • May be assigned to special project work consistent with the role and as dictated by the needs of the business;

  • Audits to monitor efficiency and compliance with policies;

  • Prepares specialized reports;

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.


Minimum Qualifications :

  • Requires BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years previous management experience in addition to a minimum of 3 years operations experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • Life and disability experience Perferred.

  • Experience with Workforce Management Tools preferred.
