Responsible for developing and implementing vision, strategies, and tactics to maximize the overall effectiveness of the Sales Compensation Administration and Licensing and Credentialing (SCLC) teams.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Ensures both Internal and External sales compensation is paid accurately and timely.
Partners with Sales Leaders and HR on interpretation of sales incentive plans.
Manages and oversees both the broker appointment and internal licensing and credentialing processes ensuring Anthem remains in compliance with all state and federal requirements.
Ensures accuracy in broker onboarding process and timeliness of agency appointments for both internal sales associates and external brokers/agents.
Acts as liaison between Sales Leadership and Information Technology to prioritize projects and provide cost estimates on proposed plan design changes.
Standardizes business processes with focus on reduction of manual workarounds and increases in automation.
Ensures SOX compliance and adequate safeguards are in place to protect Personal Identifiable Information.
Develops and manages the annual operating budget.
Collaborate with Sales Leaders on annual SIP designs.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires a BA/BS; 7-10 years of related experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
