Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing implementing and evaluating business-aligned, innovative learning solutions using a variety of techniques and tools.
How you will make an impact:
Leads needs and audience analysis to scope learning efforts and recommend effective learning solutions to close identified gaps
Recommends and curates for practical, innovative, reusable solutions to client needs, creating an effective balance.
Participates in quality review process. As a Senior, may be asked to perform quality reviews, mentoring or coaching of others.
Expectation for adoption and advocacy of operating model with active voice in recommending enhancements and escalating opportunities.
Participates in and contributes to Learning and Development sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge, skill and relationship building
Provides technical direction on design and development of web-based learning technology projects, collaborates with web content owners, graphic designers and other project team members on requirements, design, development and implementation of projects using multimedia software.
Evaluates completed learning interventions and leverages data to illustrate success and/or implement improvements.
Leads large and complex learning efforts (Big Rock – highest priority) with involvement from initial scoping through development and possibly beyond.
Accountable for project planning at the deliverable level for large projects with multiple design resources and deliverables.
Provides strong leadership to speak with authority, escalate effectively to senior leaders, business partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) and promote problem resolution in a corporate environment.
Self-driven to balance priorities, manage time effectively and proactively communicate impacts to project deadlines or impediments.
Fluency in operating within a fast-paced, high stakes environment and juggling multiple competing priorities at once.
Experience working in agile instructional design sprint cycles.
Demonstrates leadership even in an individual contributor role.
Requires BA/BS in Computer Sciences, Instructional Technology, or related field and a minimum of four years of web design/development experience and a minimum of five years of experience supporting a corporate training/learning organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent corporate background.
Master’s degree preferred.
Corporate experience a must.
Proven practice of applying instructional design theories and practice within a corporate environment. Experiencing leveraging development tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline and more.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Development within agile instructional design sprint cycle structure.
