The Wellness Center Administrator is responsible for supporting the overall direction and development of health and wellness programs for members of the Wellness Center.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Implements wellness programs.

  • Ensures that Center staff follows policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Strives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Submits invoices and inventory reports in a timely manner.

  • Coordinates with the Transportation department for patient's daily transportation.

  • Ensures a safe and clean facility by checking equipment, addressing and correcting malfunctions and maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies.

  • Identifies and resolves possible critical situations.

  • Coordinates services offered at the wellness center.

  • Tracks member participation and uses results to assist in the development of programs designed to increase participation.

  • Documents maintenance and equipment problems.

  • Performs physical inspections of all areas to determine maintenance needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare environment and customer relations experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Bilingual in English/ Spanish required.

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association required.

  • Must be willing to work in our Delray Beach, FL clinic location.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic health record software (NextGen) preferred.
