The Medical Record Representative is responsible for establishing, building, and fostering a collaborative relationship with providers to assist with chart retrieval efforts.

How you will make an impact:

  • Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with providers, determine provider needs and effectively communicates solutions.

  • Conducts outreach to providers to support the chart retrieval efforts & general correspondence.

  • Incumbent will provide attentive support for internal and external parties and be skilled in critical thinking and creative solutioning.

  • Incumbent is expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.

  • Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.

  • Resolves & solutions communication issues or variances found in production.

  • Facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties.

  • Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of project completion within general correspondence applications

  • May support other program initiatives or ad-hoc projects as deemed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and

  • Minimum of 3 years of call center or customer service experience or

  • Minimum of 2 years company experience in an automated customer service environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

  • Expertise in Medical Records & Release of Information

  • Natural problem solving and technical skills

  • Ability to modernize existing processes

  • Intermediate computer skills including window based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Access)

  • Effective communication both orally and written
