Solutions Management Manager

Work Locaiton – Chicago, IL

Position is responsible for providing expertise in support of the AIM Specialty Health Cardiology and Sleep solutions. Primary duties include managing the development, implementation, and support for these utilization management solutions. You will own the development of solution changes, investigate and resolve client issues, provide training to solution users, and monitoring solution performance. The Solutions Manager is a key contact for client questions and will work in a collaborative manor with the solution director, the business General Manager, and other functional leaders to support the growth of the solution.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Function as the product manager and subject matter expert for all Cardiology clients

  • Assist the solution director and General Manager in the development of product programs

  • Managing the cross-functional efforts between the client and AIM business and technical teams for successful implementation of value programs

  • Develop the business requirements for projects and communicate the project status

  • Serve as key product SME to multiple teams, including client services, operations, reporting, marketing, compliance, and legal.

  • Monitor performance of programs for trend and other analytical opportunities

  • Coordinates data requirements, production schedules and deliverables with the development team.

  • Maintains an understanding of the future development plans to allow appropriate level of communication with business partners.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and 5-7 years of experience in a related field, 2-3 years experience in solutions management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Graduate degree and/or professional designation related to field preferred.

  • Project management experience preferred.

  • Previous experience with technology and prior authorization is a plus

  • Be self-directed, highly motivated.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of UM systems performance and production activities.

  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
