Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Oper Consultant Sr
Responsible for providing guidance to operations analysts in the review and implementation of the internal controls within Finance and business unit systems.
Directs completion of accounting activities for the purpose of accurate and timely reporting both internally and externally.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Collects, validates, reports and analyzes complex accounting data.
Coordinates resources, project prioritization and decision validation.
Develops regional and corporate financial operations strategy.
Evaluates internal controls and data integrity.
Acts as liaison with regional operations units and represents finance on corporate or regional projects/initiatives.
Provides guidance to operations analysts.
Can commit department to deliverables on own initiative.
Uses discretion in making independent decisions.
Financial Oper Consultant Sr
Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 7 years experience in the healthcare finance field with specific experience in reporting, analysis and system enhancement and development and experience with relational databases and mainframe and client server report writers; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA or applicable professional designation preferred.
Experience in Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, and/or JIRA Align
Healthcare industry experience a plus.
Experience writing SQL queries a plus.
In-depth knowledge of WGS or Facets Claims processing and/or adjusting a plus.
Strong organizational skills in order to stay on top of multiple competing business needs.
People skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations.
