The Benefits Design Manager is responsible for managing strategic corporate benefits projects and major change initiatives with corporate-wide impact (i.e., process improvements, work redesign, M & A activity). Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Leads initiatives staffed by cross-functional team members.
Researches new programs, involving major stakeholders.
Builds decision scenarios.
Analyzes financial and organizational implications of recommendations.
Presents recommendations to senior management. Implements recommendations.
Develops communications about decisions taken.
Understands and manages major change initiatives.
Represents the department on key company initiatives and assists in ongoing process improvement, policy development, and planning of future assignments.
May lead less senior members of the Benefits staff in the implementation and administration of company benefit programs.
- Requires a BA degree; 10 years benefits experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
